St. Charles Community College's (SCC) Regional Workforce Innovation Center (RWIC) in Wentzville will prepare the region's workforce for jobs in technology, welding, advanced manufacturing, robotics, logistics, healthcare, and more. SCC anticipates opening the RWIC in the Fall of 2025.

POSITION SUMMARY

SCC is seeking qualified candidates for multiple positions of Contract Trainer III : Machining. The ideal candidate(s) will perform instructional classroom and practical hands-on training in various Machining topics. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Machining principles, Mater CAM, CNC Milling Machine, CNC Lathe, CNC Programming and installation techniques. The candidate will also develop class projects, technical assignments, and laboratory instruction to prepare students for careers in the machining industry.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :

• Deliver instructional classroom and practical hands-on training MasterCAM.
• Develop and deliver curriculum that complies with industry-recognized Machining procedures.
• Teach various Machining principles, safety procedures, Machinist hand tools and equipment, Indicating Micrometer, Machine Set up.
• Develop class projects, technical assignments, and laboratory instruction.
• Prepare students to enter the workforce as skilled Machinist.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
• Provide a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students.
