Portneuf Medical Center, part of Ardent Health, is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist for locum tenens inpatient call coverage . This is an ongoing assignment with multiple scheduled dates available through early 2026. Opportunity Highlights Start Date : ASAP (ongoing need) Coverage Type : Inpatient, Call Only Facility : Portneuf Medical Center Level II Trauma Center, Stroke Certified Patients per Shift : 9 13 Call Response Time : 20 minutes Admissions : 2 5 per 24 hours Documentation / EMR : Epic Schedule Multiple blocks of 24-hour call coverage scheduled from October 2025 through January 2026 (with ongoing opportunities beyond). Requirements Board Certified in Cardiology (Internal Medicine Cardiology). License : Idaho or IMLC-eligible ( We will help with licensing!) . Certs : ACLS and BLS required. Credentialing : 90 days (no temp privs). Required Inpatient Cardiology ; ICU ; Echocardiography .
