$1,800 to $2,200 per week
About The Position
Responsibilities :
Prepare, calculate, and administer radioactive isotopes (radiopharmaceuticals) to patients for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures such as PET, SPECT, bone scans, cardiac stress tests, and thyroid scans.
Operate and maintain gamma cameras, PET / CT scanners, and other related imaging equipment.
Position patients correctly to ensure optimal image quality while maintaining comfort and safety.
Process, analyze, and evaluate images to ensure accurate diagnostic information.
Maintain accurate records of radiopharmaceutical use and patient dosages according to regulatory standards.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., NRC standards).
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.
Educate patients about procedures, risks, and safety precautions.
Participate in quality assurance, equipment calibration, and continuing education activities.

Job Requirements
Qualifications :
Education : Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
Certification :
Registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist ( CNMT ) through NMTCB , or
Registered through ARRT (N) .
Licensure : State license (if applicable).
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and nuclear physics.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
