Overview

Supervisor Facilities Maintenance role at Framatome, Lynchburg, VA. This full-time / regular position supports the Facilities Maintenance Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. You will oversee maintenance activities across multiple Framatome locations and contribute to clean, safe energy and nuclear technology advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the maintenance of multiple Framatome locations.
  • Prioritizes work orders and manages repairs and upgrades to office space, buildings, and / or building systems.
  • Multitask and prioritize job tasks; oversee maintenance of outside grounds including landscaping, snow removal, and parking facility maintenance.
  • Direct on-call activities and live within 30 minutes of the facility; work extended / off hours as needed to support facility operations.
  • Direct maintenance and repair activities across mechanical, electrical, electronic, alarm systems and plumbing; supervise facility repair activities (building / roof repairs, furniture relocation and repair).
  • Supervise or direct facility and maintenance personnel in daily work activities; prioritize daily work to support facility operations.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance software and electronic work request programs; develop maintenance and repair procedures for equipment and plant systems.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory for site equipment; ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in lieu of degree.
  • At least 6 years of directly related experience.
  • At least 2 years of lead or supervisory experience.
  • A Journeyman Electrician and Master HVAC Card strongly desired.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with PC-based applications (e.g., MS Office).
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management; strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate various machines and building systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to join Framatome and contribute to clean energy initiatives.

    • Requirements & Skills (Preferred)

  • Journeyman Electrician; 15 years industrial maintenance and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Formal training and Code certification; HVAC and BAS system experience; mechanical experience.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC and BAS systems, CNC and manual machine tools; knowledge of overhead cranes and rigging.
  • Experience with compressed air systems; sanitary waste treatment operations; ability to troubleshoot mechanically and electrically from schematics.

    Your total rewards package may include base salary ($83,000–$113,000) plus incentives / bonuses and benefits, depending on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and location.
