Job Title : Program Manager

Job Summary :

Note : a current DOE Q clearance is required for this role.

We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Program Manager to lead a high-impact, mission-critical program within a nationally significant site. This role is ideal for an engineer (industrial, civil, or mechanical) with proven program leadership skills, capable of guiding technically complex projects that support national defense and infrastructure modernization. The successful candidate will be the driving force for the program's execution and implementation, ensuring alignment with client objectives, project scope, and workforce integration.

Key Responsibilities :

Broad, strategic oversight of site projects

Serve as the execution lead for technical projects, overseeing end-to-end delivery.

Own financial and resource management of the program.

Define and manage project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Lead cross-functional teams, providing direction and mentorship to engineering and support staff.

Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients and partners to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

Leverage technical expertise to guide program decisions and troubleshoot challenges.

Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities to expand our presence and value with our client.

Required Qualifications :

Holds a current DOE Q Clearance.

Bachelor’s degree in industrial, civil, or mechanical engineering

Minimum of 10 years of program and project management experience in technical environments.

Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex programs.

Proven track record of delivering measurable program outcomes.

Knowledge of FAR / DFARS (Federal Acquisition Regulation / Defense FAR Supplement) and contract types (CPFF, T&M, FFP, IDIQ, etc.).

Familiar with government reporting standards, audits, and deliverables.

Proven track record of complying with scope, cost, and schedule terms- proactively identifying and mitigating technical, personnel, or regulatory risks.

Ability to provide both strategic oversight and hands-on technical competence.

Skilled at providing regular and precise communication across client and internal teams.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience managing DOE, DOD, or similar government projects.

PMP, PE or equivalent certification.

Familiarity with operations and security protocols at national security facilities.

Background in government

Exhibits a high degree of organizational savvy, with the ability to diplomatically manage internal policies and stakeholder expectations to facilitate execution

Experience with MS Project

Experience with  Tableau preferred

Work Authorization : U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.

Working Conditions : This position is primarily performed in an office environment. Employees will be required to use a computer and other office equipment for extended periods.
