We are a team of experienced Engineers and Construction professionals providing inspection of residential buildings, community centers, subdivisions, mid and high-rise buildings, commercial and industrial facilities throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. We work closely with our clients to truly understand their needs and to deliver the precise product to solve their immediate problem or eliminate future problems.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with architectural and / or construction experience to join our team as a Construction Inspector. The position is hybrid and based in dCEI's Marlton office with travel in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction codes and standards, the ability to identify and correct construction defects, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. The construction inspector will be responsible for inspecting construction projects to ensure that they are built according to plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction projects to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Monitor the quality of construction work.
• Approve or reject construction materials and workmanship.
• Investigate and resolve construction problems.
• Prepare reports and documentation.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, other inspectors and supervisors regarding specifications and qualifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
