Cleans, sanitizes and disinfects all areas of healthcare facility. Maintains cleanliness of patient rooms, operating rooms, exam rooms, treatment rooms, care centers, and public areas. Collects and transports solid and infectious waste within the healthcare facility. May stock clean linen in linen room and departments.

Principle Responsibilities :

• Cleans, sanitizes, and disinfects all areas of healthcare facility.
• Maintains cleanliness of patient rooms, operating rooms, exam rooms, treatment rooms, care centers, and public areas.
• Cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, emptying trash, changing bed linen, vacuuming, operating auto scrub machine to clean floors, and others.
• Potential and actual safety hazards are identified and reported.
• Reports building items, furnishings, and equipment in need of repair or replacement.

Collects and transports solid and infectious waste within the healthcare facility.

May stock clean linen in linen room and departments.

Utilizes hospital equipment and supplies in a safe and effective manner.

Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands :

Pay Range : $20.34 to $26.44 per hour. The pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend, and / or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
