Work Flexibility : Hybrid

As a Medical Device Technical Support Specialist (Hybrid), you'll support innovative medical technologies by troubleshooting product issues, analyzing implementations, and recommending tailored solutions aligned with technical specifications and patient care needs. You'll act as a trusted on-site partner, helping customers optimize device performance while ensuring compliance and satisfaction. This role requires physical presence at a Stryker location in Portage, MI, two days per week with the flexibility to work from home.

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 10am - 7pm EST

Responsibilities :

  • Provide exceptional phone support to customers, sales representatives, and field service technicians by troubleshooting issues and delivering timely solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers by responding professionally, accurately, and courteously.
  • Support department goals through collaboration and continuous improvement efforts under supervision.
  • Drive Zero Planned Downtime by offering flexible service solutions to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for all work to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Contribute ideas to improve customer support processes and elevate service quality.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to expand knowledge and enhance support experience.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members, maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions.

Qualifications : Required :

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience in technical troubleshooting or customer support, preferably in healthcare, automotive, or related technical industries
  • Preferred :

  • Experience with ERP or CRM platforms such as Salesforce for logging issues, managing support cases, and tracking activities
  • Travel percentage : 10%
