Description :

Reports to : Logistics Manager

Hours : Full time

Position Purpose : Responsible for maintaining the yard, building loads for delivery, and loading material. Maintain the organization and appearance of manufactured inventory in the yard.

Primary Role Expectations

  • Organize and build loads
  • Load delivery trucks

    • Qualifications :

  • Reliable, punctual
  • Ability to operate a forklift
  • Knowledge of dimensional lumber
  • Strong ability to work effectively with diverse individuals from management to floor employees
  • Strong communication skills, reasoning, and mathematical skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Outdoor loading / manufacturing environment – constant walking, sitting, standing, bending, talking, hearing, seeing and using hands to operate tools
  • Ability to move or lift up to 100 lbs.
