You will lead a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality across the development lifecycle while establishing and refining testing processes to guarantee that our software meets robust standards before deployment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor a team of QA specialists to cultivate a high-performance testing environment.
- Design, implement, and manage the overall QA strategy, including automated and manual testing processes.
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and testing schedules based on project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct thorough testing, including functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track defects found during testing and ensure timely resolution.
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
- Analyze quality metrics, report findings, and recommend improvements to the development process.
- Stay current with industry trends in quality assurance methodologies and incorporate best practices into the QA process.
Requirements
Experience : 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with at least 2 years in a leadership role.Testing Proficiency : Proven expertise in both manual and automated testing techniques, including familiarity with test management and automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).Methodologies : Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.Technical Skills : Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for automation purposes.Documentation : Experience with creating and maintaining clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation.Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and drive them to resolution.Team Leadership : Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams towards achieving quality objectives.Communication : Strong communication skills to effectively convey quality objectives, results, and recommendations to diverse teams.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with CI / CD practices and tools.Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).Certifications in QA methodologies (e.g., ISTQB or equivalent) are a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
