Job Summary

The Experience Producer leads and executes the weekend service experience and other Crossroads experiences as needed. Projects are assigned based on the need for creative direction, creative production, budget management or implementation, production timelines, communication, and collaboration with different teams or ministry departments.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create immersive environments in which people can begin to be transformed by God’s truth and presence.
  • Participate in the creation of key events at site supporting Crossroads’ mission, vision and goals.
  • Project manage key events at site, assisting stakeholders in defining objectives and executing plans.
  • Collaborate with team to ensure technical elements of experience are understood and ready to execute.
  • Communicate mission by providing context and story around experience objectives and audience.
  • Encourage consistent use of Crossroads culture components including mission, vision, target audience, language, and branding.
  • Execute weekend service experience in coordination with Audio Engineer, Stage and Lighting Director, Video Director, Worship Leader, and Community Pastor.
  • Ensure seamless transitions between live and recorded elements by clearly communicating objectives and cueing service progressions.
  • Equip and encourage Community Pastor or other communicators with constructive feedback on stage communication and teaching points.
  • Work hours include Crossroads’ office hours as well as various weekends and evenings.
  • Carry out additional project tasks and assignments as needed.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.

    • Experience / Skills Requirements

  • Clear verbal and written communication, even under stress, with a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Organized, disciplined with priorities, meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Google tools and willingness to learn other software as needed.
  • Experience with Mac / PC and web browsers.
  • Ability to understand departmental objectives, adapt to changing environments, and proactively solve problems.
  • Willing to take direction, humble, positive, and mature in judgment with a winsome personality.
  • Performs independently without close supervision.
  • Strong ethic of servant leadership and passion for shared team goals.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and tight timelines.

    • Physical Requirements

  • Walk up to 5 miles, stand, climb, lift, pull, push, carry, reach, and stoop as duties require.
  • Lift 25 to 50 lbs.

    • Scheduling / Travel Requirements

  • Flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, and other high-impact events at Crossroads.
