As a Tax Expert at Intuit TurboTax , you will provide personalized tax preparation and advisory services, building long-lasting relationships with clients and serving as a trusted community ambassador.

Overview

Intuit is on the lookout for passionate individuals to join our vibrant team as TurboTax Live Seasonal Local Service Experts at various locations across the United States. This seasonal opportunity blends tax expertise with an entrepreneurial spirit, allowing you to empower customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting our mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.”

About the Role

In this role, you will work on-site at a TurboTax location, assisting customers both in-person and virtually. Your tax expertise will be invaluable as you provide :

  • Full-service tax return preparation for a variety of situations, from simple W2 filings to complex business income scenarios.
  • Personalized tax advice to help clients minimize liabilities and maximize refunds.
  • Support and education to demystify taxes and alleviate client stress.

Additionally, you will play a crucial role in expanding TurboTax’s client base within your community, establishing long-term relationships, and driving customer loyalty. TurboTax will equip you with the tools and support you need to succeed!

What You’ll Do

  • Provide Tax Expertise : Offer hands-on tax advice and preparation services, utilizing resources to deliver accurate solutions in everyday language.
  • Be a Proactive Community Ambassador : Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into loyal clients through outreach and local events.
  • Educate and Communicate Confidently : Represent TurboTax enthusiastically in your community, hosting learning events and participating in marketing efforts.
  • Build Relationships : Connect with clients, demonstrating empathy and understanding to foster long-term trust.
  • Deliver a Best-in-Class Customer Experience : Create exceptional experiences for clients, helping them achieve their financial goals.

    • Who You Are

  • Possess active, unrestricted credentials : EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
  • Hold an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Have at least 2 years of experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season.
  • Willing to work a minimum of 24 hours per week at a TurboTax location.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) skills are a plus!

  • Must reside within the United States.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses or permits.

    • Compensation & Benefits

    Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance approach. The expected base pay range varies by location :

  • Bay Area California : $30.60 - $36.10
  • Southern California : $30.60 - $36.10
  • Colorado : $29.20 - $34.50
  • Hawaii : $30.60 - $36.10
  • Illinois : $29.20 - $34.50
  • Maryland : $29.20 - $34.50
  • Massachusetts : $30.60 - $36.10
  • Minnesota : $26.20 - $30.90
  • New Jersey : $30.60 - $36.10
  • New York : $30.60 - $36.10
  • Ohio : $26.20 - $30.90
  • Vermont : $29.20 - $34.50
  • Washington : $30.60 - $36.10
  • Washington DC : $29.20 - $34.50
