Sr. Mechanical and Design Engineering Manager- KENT, OH

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and optimization of dip molding and dip coating equipment . The candidate must have a deep understanding of equipment and machine design, material handling automation and robotics with strong mechanical engineering principles, team leadership skills, a nd a pro ven track re cord in managing complex equipment automation projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Leadership and Team Management :
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of mechanical engineers and technical staff.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative engineering culture.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and company goals.
• Engineering and Process Development :
• Oversee the design and development of equipment, tools, and processes for dip molding and dip coating.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Project Management :
• Manage engineering projects from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and R&D, to meet project objectives .
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to address complex engineering challenges.
• Innovation and Technology :
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
• Evaluate and recommend new materials, methods, and technologies to improve manufacturing capabilities.
• Lead the development and implementation of automation and advanced manufacturing techniques, with a strong focus on material handling automation and robotics.
• Stakeholder Engagement :
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and senior management.
