Munitions Response and Recovered Chemical Warfare Materiel Operations Consultant
This position is open to any U.S. location. The base pay range is $102,800.00 to $151,000.00 per year, with actual pay depending on skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in Munitions Response and RCWM operations, including planning, compliance, investigation, and removal / remediation.
- Support business development by developing technical approaches and strategies to win work in munitions response and RCWM, leveraging industry knowledge, relationships, and market understanding.
- Grow the team's competitiveness and market share while mentoring junior technical experts and project managers.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of corporate-wide policies and procedures in sales and operations.
- Collaborate on strategies for execution of Stand-alone Contracts and Task Orders, including proposal responses, technical approaches, pricing, and assignment of key personnel.
- Lead and manage complex munitions response and RCWM projects as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental science, geology or related technical field.Experience in Munitions Response and RCWM investigation and remediation with emphasis on bidding for firm fixed price (FFP) projects, field operations, and project management.Advanced knowledge and experience in RCWM, including investigations and remedial / response actions, regulations and requirements, operations and safety, munitions hazards, detection / monitoring / remote sensing technologies, disposal and demilitarization, and decontamination procedures.Experience in preparing and reviewing work plans, safety plans, ESSs / ESPs and CSSs / CSPs; quality control / quality assurance; and USACE requirements and specifications.5+ years' experience bidding and managing munitions response and RCWM projects.Preferred / Additional Skills
Experience bidding and delivering projects involving decontamination and demolition of facilities contaminated with explosives, CWM, and / or biological contaminants is a strong plus.Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) license, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Experience working with USACE Military Munitions Design Centers and Districts.Experience with U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville's CWMDC; CBNC / CBRNE activities; and related agencies.Experience in cost estimating munitions response and RCWM projects.RCWM specialized training / certifications.Benefits and Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $102,800.00 to $151,000.00. Within the range, pay is determined by work location and factors including job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
