About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

License : Must have DC license in hand

Certifications : BLS required; CNOR or CST preferred

Must-Have :

• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19
• Every other weekend and every other holiday are required

Description :

MUST HAVE DC LICENSE IN HAND TO SUBMIT.

Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

2+ years of experience required.

Auto offer with the ability for manager interview if necessary.

On-call required : 2 night calls and 3 weekend calls per month.

Night calls during the week are from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Weekend call shifts are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., or 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Staffing ratios : 9 rooms.

No floating between units is required.

Types of facility : Trauma 1, Teaching Hospital.

Patient age groups : Adults, Geriatrics.

Daily census : 25.

Unit specialties include : Trauma, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Robotic Surgery.

Experience in the majority of surgical procedures listed is needed.

Training will be provided as needed for specialized techniques.

Candidates must be open to weekend calls and flexible scheduling.

Team-oriented environment with interdisciplinary support.
