Position Summary :
A Grant Accountant position oversees the financial
administration of grants and contracts from award setup through award closeout
and ensures compliance with all Federal, State, University and sponsor
policies, procedures, and guidelines. This position works closely with the
financial and administrative units throughout the university. In addition, the
senior grant accountant provides training to new hires in the Office of
Research and routinely contributes by providing presentations and training to
current staff, both within the Office of Research and to other units as needed.
Essential Functions :

and graduate student assistant nomination forms, sub-award budgeting, and
travel expenses. Approval includes verification of available budget and correct

Salary Information :
In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the negotiated annual salary range for this position is $66,844.56-$124,923.48 (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
