  • Standards of Practice : Guided by the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, your nursing duties will include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, health teaching, and evaluation of patient progress.\n
  • Professional Performance : Engage in ethical practices, culturally congruent care, effective communication, collaboration, and leadership while consistently contributing to quality nursing practice and utilizing resources responsibly.\n\nQualifications\nEducation : Graduation from an accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred. Current BCLS certification is necessary within the first month of hire.\n\nExperience : While all Registered Nurses are foundational team members encouraged to advance, experience in an Emergency Care environment is preferred.\n\nLicensure : Must be a licensed and registered nurse in Connecticut, with clinical specialty certification highly encouraged.\n\nPhysical Demand : This position requires prolonged standing, walking, and a degree of physical strength to assist patients of varying weights. Exposure to infectious diseases and emotional situations is a part of the job, and candidates should be prepared for moderate stress levels.\n\nAdditional Information : This position is governed by the Connecticut Healthcare Associates Collective Bargaining Agreement.
