Position Details

Role : Material Handler Shift : 2nd Shift, 1 : 30 PM 10 : 00 PM (Monday through Friday) Location : Onsite only (no remote or hybrid options)

Job Purpose

The Material Handler plays a key role in organizing, storing, and staging non-processable materials collected from multiple departments. This position requires operating forklifts (sit-down and stand-up), maintaining accurate inventory, and coordinating shipments with downstream vendors. The role also involves preparing packing lists and invoices to ensure timely and accurate material payments.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory, stage, and organize materials for downstream shipment.
  • Determine appropriate vendors and coordinate outgoing shipments.
  • Prepare packing lists and invoices for materials.
  • Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
  • Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of data entry and basic computer skills preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work independently.
  • Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented mindset.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and verbal communication.
  • Experience operating heavy machinery a plus.
  • Benefits
