Amp Up is a locally owned, high-energy entertainment venue located at 13901 Manchester Road in West County St. Louis. Amp Up offers a variety of attractions to appeal to all ages, including go karts, axe throwing, laser tag, ninja ropes course, virtual reality and interactive gaming plus plentiful food and beverage options.
Job Description
If you believe that every day is worth celebrating, then you might be the perfect person to help run special events at Amp Up Action Park. The Special Events Coordinator will create amazing parties and group events for kids and adults. This role plans so our team of Party Hosts can execute the best experience ever from birthday parties to bachelor parties to corporate team-building events. By interacting directly with guests, you can significantly impact the overall guest experience. At Amp Up, we're seeking employees who will take the job very seriously yet share the fun and enthusiasm of each and every guest.

Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound phone calls and emailsQuote and book parties, events and fundraisersAssist in event sales, lead identification and outreachEmote a special celebration vibe and maintain positive rapport with guests of all agesFinalize contracts, book reservations in system, assist with collection of event deposits and paymentsEnsure all pre-arrival booking procedures are followed, including waiversHandle all related paperwork, including Banquet Event Order (BEO) for precise team executionCreate and maintain Catering This Week sheetsPre-order food from the Trackside Caf or food supplierManage inventory of event suppliesRespond to charitable donation requestsOversee creation of goodie bags and donation packagesQuickly intervene if a guest is unhappy to make things rightResponsible for hosting parties or overseeing party hostsProvide facility tours to potential or booked events, as neededEnsure cleanliness of party spaces (party rooms, mezzanine, flex space and patio)Assist with party hosting, food preparation, serving and other rolesAvailable to work 25-35 hours per weekAbility to work a flexible schedule of days, nights and SaturdaysWork in noisy, fast paced environment with a positive attitudeAbility to meet physical demands of walking or standing for up to 100% of the assigned shiftCustodial duties as requestedOther duties as assignedIdeal Candidate :
