Qualifications
Education Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in emergency management, business continuity, cybersecurity, public safety, Medical or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- In lieu of a degree, three (3) years to five (5) years of experience in fire safety, disaster planning, public administration, or an emergency management may be substituted for IMT and IST positions.
- Applicants for medical, mental health, or case manager positions must hold the appropriate licenses and certifications.

As aReservist, you will be part of an elite, all-hazards response team, available to deploy within 24-48 hours when disaster strikes.
This is not a full-time positionreservists are deployed based on their skills, experience, and the needs of the response.

Key Responsibilities
Incident Response & Coordination :
Monitor and assess incidents in real-time, ensuring timely response and resolution.Identify, escalate, and communicate critical incidents to the appropriate leadership teams for prompt action.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate incident response efforts.Maintain situational awareness and provide updates during ongoing incidents.Incident Documentation & Analysis :
Maintain accurate records of incidents, response actions, and resolutions.Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.Develop detailed reports on incident trends, response effectiveness, and areas for improvement.Communication & Stakeholder Engagement :
Serve as a point of contact for incident-related inquiries and coordination.Provide clear and concise communication to leadership, staff, and external partners during incidents.Support training and awareness initiatives to enhance incident management capabilities.Operational Support & Continuous Improvement :
Assist in refining incident management processes, tools, and best practices.Participate in emergency preparedness exercises and drills.Contribute to the development and implementation of incident response plans and policies.Additional Qualifications
Experience in incident response, emergency operations, or crisis management.Knowledge of National Incident Management System (NIMS) and Incident Command System (ICS) principles.Experience working in an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) or security operations environment.Mitigation strategies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess incidents and determine appropriate responses.Proficiency in using incident management software and communication tools.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make sound decisions under stress.Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed during incidents.What We Look For
