As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent regional medical center, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the healthcare location, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing responsive support when needed. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Fri 07 : 45 AM - 04 : 15 PM Sat 07 : 45 AM - 04 : 15 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or unauthorized access.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, patients, and staff with directions and general information as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to support a secure and welcoming environment for all individuals at the location.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to daily activities, incidents, and / or irregularities encountered during patrols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Handcuff, pepper spray, and / or baton certification is preferred.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
