The nurse provides direct care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team. This role requires strong critical thinking, collaboration, and the ability to handle fast-paced situations effectively.\n\nResponsibilities : \n

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the operating room following established protocols.\n
• Prepare operating rooms, ensure all equipment is functional, and maintain sterile fields.\n
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure safe patient outcomes.\n
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, responses, and progress throughout procedures.\n
• Ensure compliance with infection control and hospital safety standards.\n
• Educate patients and families about the surgical process and post-operative care.\n\nRequirements : \n\nEducation & Experience : \n
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred\n
• Previous acute care or surgical experience – Preferred\n\nLicenses & Certifications : \n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon – Required\n
