MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN NEEDED

FULL TIME NIGHTS

Apollo Behavioral Health Hospital, newly constructed in 2018 - state of the art facility conveniently located at 9938 airline highway in the heart of the city at the intersection of I-12 and Airline Hwy.

Job Responsibilities :

• Demonstrates teamwork by carrying out routine and assigned task with the outpatient programs
• Documents patient's observed behavior, vital signs, significant occurrences, departure from hospital, and observation findings of patients as requested by nurse
• Assist nurse with patient care tasks and the nurse or activity director with therapeutic interventions
• Flexible with work schedule when necessary to provide coverage
• Assists with coordination of distributing lunches, cleaning the kitchen after lunch and attending to the patients' needs during lunch
• Provide care and assist patients in daily living activities including but not limited to diaper change, cleaning, bathing and feeding
• Oversees the cleanliness of the facility
