Job Title : Digital CAD / CAM Manager - Dental Laboratory

Job Type : Full-time, In-person

Location : Dental Laboratory (Onsite)

Overview :

Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CAD / CAM Manager to lead digital dental laboratory operations. Responsible for overseeing design, production, and quality assurance of dental restorations using advanced CAD / CAM technologies. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with leadership to drive innovation, efficiency, and excellence in digital dentistry.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage CAD / CAM department, including technicians and designers

Oversee digital workflow for designing crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, and other restorations

Ensure high-quality standards and compliance with dental lab regulations

Collaborate with dentists and lab staff to optimize case planning and execution

Train and mentor team members on software and equipment usage

Troubleshoot technical issues and implement process improvements

Manage inventory of digital materials and supplies

Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and emerging technologies

Required Skills & Experience (Recruiter Checklist) :

Hands-on experience designing dental restorations : crowns, bridges, dentures, implants

Experience with CAD / CAM systems (e.g., Exocad, 3Shape, Dental Wings)

Knowledge of quality assurance and dental lab regulatory compliance

Implant planning and surgical guide design

Experience with digital case management systems

Leadership / management experience : supervising and mentoring CAD / CAM technicians and designers

Ability to optimise workflow and troubleshoot technical issues

Nice to Have :

Knowledge of lean manufacturing and lab efficiency practices

Digital technology certifications

Continued education via webinars, seminars, lectures, conventions, etc.
