This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Curriculum Developer in the United States .

In this role, you will design and develop high-quality, engaging learning experiences for adult learners, translating subject matter expert content into effective course materials. You will collaborate closely with instructional designers, SMEs, and other stakeholders to create learning objectives, activities, assessments, and resources that align with program outcomes. The role requires strong project management skills, creativity, and attention to detail while working in a remote, collaborative environment. Your contributions will directly impact student success and satisfaction by ensuring courses are current, research-based, and career-relevant. Accountabilities

  • Develop curriculum documents and components, including course blueprints, scripts, learning activities, and resource materials.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and instructional designers to ensure content is evidence-based, career-relevant, and aligned with program goals.
  • Translate SME knowledge into engaging course materials that meet quality assurance standards.
  • Conduct academic research to verify content accuracy and identify gaps.
  • Evaluate curriculum effectiveness and implement revisions based on data, feedback, and emerging best practices.
  • Use project management tools to track workflows, coordinate tasks, and ensure on-time course delivery.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and student-centered learning.

Requirements

  • Masterโ€™s degree in education, curriculum development, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in higher education or Kโ€“12 curriculum design and development.
  • Proficiency in academic writing, proofreading, and copyediting across disciplines.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and course development tools.
  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality in instructional design.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and provide constructive feedback.
  • Knowledge of instructional design theories and evidence-based teaching strategies.
