The primary responsibility is covering an ICU, handling pulmonary consults and cases. The pulmonologist should be comfortable performing a range of procedures, including oral / nasal intubation, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy with biopsy, central venous and arterial line placement, arterial puncture, ventilator management, and tube thoracostomy.
