Opportunity : Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology Job Details : - Work primarily 11 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM Monday through Friday, with potential for earlier shifts - Saturday shifts are a possibility - PET CT experience is mandatory (minimum 1 year required) - Handle approximately 10 patients per day - Work with outpatient, cancer, and PET diagnosis patients - Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures - Maintain radiation safety protocols while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals - Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by license - Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance - Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS - Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser - All certifications and licenses must be active, current, and in hand at time of submission - Required : Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT - Required : State licensure (Louisiana : LRT (N) by LSRTBE) - Required : BLS certification - Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology or approved equivalent required - Basic computer experience required - No on-call requirements - No floating requirements - Blocked scheduling accommodated Facility : This imaging center provides comprehensive nuclear medicine and radiology services with a focus on advanced diagnostic imaging procedures.
