Travel Nurse Job Details Location : Peoria, Illinois 61636 Unit : Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Position Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 20 / 2025 – End : 1 / 17 / 2026) Shift : Night shift, 7 : 00pm – 7 : 30am Schedule : 3x12 hour shifts per week (36 hours / week guaranteed) Estimated Weekly Salary : $2130-$2190 CVICU RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or compact state Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association At least 1 year of recent CVICU or critical care nursing experience Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team Key Responsibilities for CVICU Travel Nurse Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to CVICU patients Conduct patient assessments through interviews, observations, and physical exams Develop and implement individualized care plans with patients, families, and the healthcare team Monitor and document patient progress, updating care plans as needed Operate and troubleshoot advanced cardiovascular equipment Promote patient and staff safety, including use of lift equipment Perform bedside lab testing and maintain compliance with hospital policies Educate patients and families, adapting teaching strategies to individual needs Participate in performance improvement initiatives and unit-based councils Provide comprehensive shift reports and advocate for patient needs Apply now to join our healthcare team as a CVICU Registered Nurse in Peoria, Illinois!
