Treasure Coast Community Health (TCCH), is growing and we are now seeking a Director of Operations, and Risk Management. The Director of Operations and Risk Management reports to the Executive Vice President (EVP) of Treasure Coast Community Health and responsible for working to support health center operational management and the risk management program. The Director of Operations and Risk will oversee the day-to-day operations of the healthcare centers and provide support to the EVP related to the strategic and operational focus of the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include : Supervision of site management team, completing regular one-on-one sessions, site visits, evaluations, provide support to EVP related to operational management, head the Risk Management Committee and hold quarterly meetings to provide detailed reports on all serious incidents, claims, near misses, and risk-related issues, will meet with CMO on a regular basis to report current cases and updates, promote the occurrence reporting process including trending and reporting of results, identification of problem-prone areas, and facilitation of prevention initiatives, ensure that risk management findings are reported to the Quality Assessment / Quality Improvement Committee, where a review of occurrences requiring analysis and document lessons learned and process improvement plan will take place, address major patient complaints and resolving issues relative to those complaints, represents TCCH in a leadership capacity to patients, ensures that customers, internal and external, are treated with respect, courtesy and compassion, acts as point person and works with staff on FTCA, responsible for FTCA claims management, manage all aspects of actual or potentially compensable events from beginning to conclusion, including identifying potential claims; investigating potential and actual claims or lawsuits. Coordinates, aggregates and reports risk data pertaining to potential or actual compensable events, serves as the liaison for any claims and / or action taken against the organization, responsible for the development and enforcement of policies and procedure that encourages employees to report suspected fraud or other improper / illegal activities without fear of retaliation
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent education and experience in Healthcare required. Master's Degree preferred or combination of experience and education with minimum three years prior Healthcare Administrator or Director of Operations experience required. Ambulatory experience preferred. Experience with Community Health Centers is highly desirable. TCCH is an Equal Opportunity Employer according to applicable laws.
