Human Resources Representative - Morton, WA

Schedule : Flexible | Day & Swing Shift Coverage

Job Type : Full-Time

A local mill in Morton, WA is seeking a dedicated and motivated Human Resources Representative to support operations across both day and swing shifts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has a helpful attitude, and wants to grow their career in HR.

This is more of a tactical HR role, helping with addressing the current tasks at hand and being able to be quick and flexible.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support daily HR functions including onboarding, attendance tracking, and employee relations
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and new hire orientation
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns
  • Collaborate with supervisors to support workforce needs across shifts
  • Help with workplace safety initiatives and compliance tasks
  • Perform basic administrative tasks and reporting using Microsoft Office

Qualifications :

  • Previous HR experience required
  • Manufacturing and Industrial experience is required for the role in an HR setting
  • Willingness to learn and support HR best practices
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
  • Flexibility to provide support across day and swing shifts
