Basic Job Functions :

Seeking a creative, forward-thinking, process-minded, effective communicator to join our team. The QC Lead's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

• Leading and fostering a culture of quality at their operating location.
• Engage team and improve Safety of all NTS operations.
• Directly responsible for day-to-day quality activities at their division.
• Directly responsible for building, coaching and mentoring the quality team at their division.
• Tracking and reporting on quality performance, back charges, re-work, etc for all departments.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and audit established procedures internally and externally, Lead, train, coach, and develop Quality Department personnel on quality requirements, procedures.
• Identify potential areas of risk and make recommendations.

This position will be in Brigham City, UT but may require occasional travel to other production facilities, job sites, vendors / suppliers, etc. on an as required basis. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
