Key Responsibilities

You will be part of the Water team within Customer Analytical Services (CAS) group, which serves customers within the pulp & paper and water treatment industries.

You will be responsible for testing of customer water samples utilizing the following instrumental techniques : Flow injection analysis (FIA) for phosphate detection, Hach kit testing, Inductively coupled plasma - optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES), and pH, alkalinity, and conductivity measurements.

You will be responsible for setting up and operating laboratory equipment according to standard operating procedures to support the development of new technologies.

You will be responsible for recording experimental data, making calculations, presenting data, and communicating progress.

Responsible for safe working conditions and adheres to local, federal, and institutional safety regulations and policies

Qualifications

You have an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, a closely related field of study, or relevant industrial experience.

Scientific knowledge and ability to understand and carry out standard methods relevant to the department.

Strong communication skills

You have experience working with standard laboratory equipment and MS Office.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $57,000.00 and $95,000.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
