Pay : 45-55K per year base salary. Opportunity to earn monthly bonuses based on achieving certain close rates on leads given to the sales rep.

About the Role

A growing home-services company specializing in  tile, grout, and surface restoration  is seeking a motivated, personable, and energetic  In-Home Estimator  to join our team.

In this role, you’ll meet directly with homeowners, property managers, hotels, HOA boards and commercial businesses to assess tile, grout, and stone restoration projects, prepare detailed estimates, and help customers restore the beauty of their surfaces.

This position combines  sales estimating  with  local grassroots marketing  — ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the community, talking with people, and taking ownership of results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home and on-site inspections to assess tile, grout, and stone restoration needs
  • Prepare and present accurate, professional estimates for services such as :
  • Grout and tile cleaning
  • Grout color sealing
  • Re-grouting and re-caulking
  • Minor tile repair and replacement
  • Water damage and surface restoration
  • Educate customers on service options and build confidence through professionalism and communication
  • Follow up promptly on leads and maintain a strong closing rate
  • Execute local “boots-on-the-ground” marketing efforts :
  • Hanging flyers and door tags in key neighborhoods
  • Networking with condos, HOAs, property managers, and local businesses
  • Representing the company at local events and community functions
  • Track all estimates, customer details, and follow-ups in the CRM system
  • Operate a  company-provided vehicle during working hours  (vehicle is not take-home)

Qualifications

  • Experience in grout, tile, or surface restoration  preferred
  • Prior in-home sales, estimating, or home-services experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — must enjoy interacting with people daily
  • Self-motivated with strong organization and time-management skills
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and professional appearance
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. (marketing materials, samples, etc.)
