Administrative Professional 1
Provide administrative assistance to Expo Center Staff Officers by relieving them of routine administrative tasks :
- Compose answers to correspondence, provide requested materials & provide explanation of Divisions duties & responsibilities either orally or by written correspondence;
- Prepare typed copies (e.g., letters, reports, statistics, minutes of meetings, contracts, tables & graphs etc.);
- Review all materials for errors & makes necessary corrections;
- Type confidential backgrounds & other types of investigations;
- Use personal computer to create records, files, form letters & Inter Officer Communications;
- Maintain equipment inventory for facility; Send teletypes;
- Review invoices for accuracy & completeness.
- Greet visitors & direct them to the appropriate staff officer or directly assist them;
- Answer, screen & direct incoming phone calls; Take messages as needed;
- Maintain inventory of office supplies & requisitions when needed;
- Maintain procedure files & retrieve information from them as needed;
- Copy & distribute written materials; Sort & distribute mail;
- Fill in for other support staff in their absence;
- Perform other related duties as required.
