Your Responsibilities

As an RN, you will :

  • Perform accurate patient assessments and identify individual needs.
  • Initiate appropriate nursing interventions tailored to each patient.
  • Provide age-appropriate care based on the patient's condition.
  • Document medical necessity in a timely manner.
  • Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
  • Conduct timely and accurate Quality Improvement assessments.

    • Requirements

    To thrive in this role, you should have :

  • A current VA RN license.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

    • Working Conditions

    Be prepared to meet a 30-minute call time for patient care needs, including procedures such as :

  • Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
  • Colonoscopy
  • Sigmoidoscopy
  • Bronchoscopy
  • GI Bleed procedures
