Role and Responsibilities

This person will assist the Inventory Manager and Shipping & Receiving Manager to oversee the procurement, storing, receiving, and distribution of material and supplies to the Conroe production facility. In addition, this person controls the flow of materials and equipment, tracks and analyzes inventory maintenance, and develops protocols for loss mitigation. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Maintaining daily records for invoices and shipments.
  • Ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
  • Examine levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages.
  • Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish material and supply shortages.
  • Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels.
  • Evaluating new inventory and ensuring readiness to deliver.
  • Performing cycle counts on inventory.
  • Assist in the preparation of physical inventory.
  • Assume responsibility for ensuring the duties of this position are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform other duties that the Shipping & Receiving and Plant Managers may assign.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience required in HR administrative role.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred. However, adequate work experience may be substituted in lieu of a diploma.

  • Problem-solving skills to anticipate problems before they arise and react appropriately when they do.
  • Ability to effectively multitask.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Critical thinking skills to manage multiple moving parts, people, and orders.
  • Superior attention to detail and follow up.
  • Ability to work well with others, be organized and detail-oriented.
  • Additional Notes

  • Pre-employment drug testing shall be required.
  • All applicants shall be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Applicant shall have a negative COVID-19 test prior to beginning work on site.
  • Ability to work in office, warehouse, and outside storage yard.
