Speech Language Pathologist Early Intervention

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in speech therapy and a passion for providing care to patients in various settings such as critical care, acute care, pediatrics, and outpatient facilities.

• Who qualifies as a Speech-Language Pathologist provider?
• A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• Active Speech-Language Pathology license with the NYS Office of Professions.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• If intended to work as an independent contractor (1099), a DOH Approval letter is required.
• Ability to independently set and manage a caseload, process documentation in a timely manner and effectively communicate with families and our dedicated team members.
• Duties
• Conduct speech and language assessments to diagnose and develop treatment plans
• Provide therapy and intervention services to patients with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Utilize physiology knowledge to address swallowing and feeding difficulties
• Administer standardized testing to evaluate patients' progress
• Work with inpatient and outpatient populations across different age groups
• Utilize medical terminology effectively in documentation and communication
