We are seeking an Application Architect to join our team. This role will involve designing and implementing enterprise-scale application architectures across distributed, event-driven, and cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in solution architecture, cloud computing, data analytics, IT service management, and application security - with a passion for enabling business transformation through technology innovation.

Job Description :

As an Application Architect at Trilyon, Inc., you will play a key role in defining and delivering robust, scalable, and secure enterprise application solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and product owners to translate complex business requirements into actionable technical architectures that align with organizational goals and IT strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

Architectural Design & Strategy :

Develop and document architectural blueprints, logical and reference architectures, and system flow diagrams. Ensure that designs support scalability, reliability, and performance while aligning with enterprise standards.

Solution Alignment :

Translate complex business and technical requirements into optimized, secure, and efficient technical solutions. Drive architectural consistency across platforms and initiatives.

Implementation Guidance :

Provide hands-on technical direction throughout design, development, and deployment phases to ensure solutions are implemented according to architectural best practices.

Cloud Architecture :

Design and implement cloud-native solutions primarily on AWS, with additional exposure to Azure or GCP. Leverage AWS services to deliver secure, cost-effective, and highly available systems.

Event-Driven Systems :

Architect solutions leveraging event-driven technologies such as Apache Kafka, Distributed MQ, and Amazon Kinesis for real-time data streaming and integration.

Data Platforms & Analytics :

Design and integrate data solutions using Snowflake and related analytics platforms to support data warehousing, reporting, and visualization needs.

Governance & Compliance :

Partner with cross-functional teams to improve technology governance, risk management, and compliance processes across the enterprise.

Team Collaboration & Leadership :

Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and adherence to architectural standards.

Documentation & Communication :

Produce comprehensive architectural documentation and present complex concepts clearly using tools like Microsoft Visio.

Required Skills and Experience :

Proven experience as an Application Architect in enterprise-scale environments.

Expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and enterprise capability design.

Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and event-driven technologies.

Hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Architecture , with familiarity in Azure or GCP as a plus.

Proficiency in data and analytics platforms, particularly Snowflake .

Knowledge of security and trusted computing principles .

Experience in defining architecture patterns, standards, and frameworks such as TOGAF.

Excellent communication and documentation skills; familiarity with tools such as Visio, Hopex, LeanIX, or ServiceNow.

Exposure to emerging technologies such as AI and Blockchain is a plus.
