Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced X-Ray Radiology Technologist with ARRT certification, Wisconsin license, and trauma Level II experience for a 7 on / 7 off night shift role.
Responsibilities
Position is based in a hospital setting with a 7 on / 7 off night shift scheduleMay be required to float to all Central Aspirus locations if neededPrimary duties include routine X-Ray and portable imaging in high acuity areas such as med-surg, ICU, cardiac care, and emergency care unitsRequires skill in positioning adult and geriatric high acuity patients, with frequent work in the ORTrauma Level II environment with a patient population primarily in their 30's to geriatricEPIC Radiant charting experience preferred but not requiredNo mandatory on call, call back, or regular weekend / holiday rotations, but may be asked to assist during staffing needsCandidates are expected to be skilled in managing high acuity adult patients across multiple unitsScrub color is any colorEligible for 36 hours low census unbillable with potential for call back pay if called in during those hoursTravelers may be put on call during 36 unbillable low census hoursOrientation week hours may vary and are not GSA guaranteedFirst-time travelers are not considered for this positionNo radius rule applies to this positionRequirements
Current ARRT certification and valid Wisconsin Radiology license requiredAHA BLS certification requiredMinimum of 2 years recent specialty experience, including work in an OR settingMust have prior travel experienceExperience required in a 300+ bed facility and trauma Level II setting within the last 2 yearsComfortable performing portable X-Rays in various hospital unitsLicense required if applicableBenefits
