Residential AV Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

• Projector, flat panel, screen installation and calibration
• Manage van stock, tools, van maintenance, and appearance
• Meet with project manager to ensure timeline and expectations
• Review sales order, product list and scope of work prior to deploying equipment
• Responsible for all aspects of onsite installation of AV systems
• Set up, pre-configure and program networks, control systems, cameras and NVRs
• Provide daily updates to project documentation and work orders in job management software
• Accurate time clock entries and job costing
• Make decisions and be held accountable for time and materials
• Customer service, including the ability to work with high-profile and high-demand clients
• Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network / home security
• Adherence to state and federal laws, including traffic laws
• On-call rotation may be required
• Local travel to job sites required
