Overview
The Graphic Designer position is responsible for developing innovative, eye-catching designs that communicate campaign ideas, increase brand awareness, help grow customer base, and drive sales. Types of media include visual, print, digital and potentially social media.
Location : 100% Remote
Pay Rate : $22 / hr
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
Contract Duration : ASAP – 12 / 31
Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the Creative Director, Graphic Design Manager, Art Director and / or Copy Team, develops and designs projects (both digital & print) from initial concept to launch.
- Ensures all design is consistent with the Client's brand utilizing seasonal guides and design toolkits which includes selecting colors, artwork, photography, style of type and other visual elements for the design.
- Reviews all information and translates into a creative strategy to offer the most effective message to our customers in print or web media as assigned.
- Collaborates and gathers any necessary research and information needed to complete a project and identifies issues specific to design and documents for creative review.
- Works well with other team members as well as cross-functionally as needed on projects.
- Sets up all designs for printing high quality graphics according to standards and exports online / digital assets including slicing and uploading to production.
- Makes necessary edits and changes until collateral is ready for publication / post production handoff and identifies any design concerns or issues prior to final delivery.
- Gathers relevant information on current market trends to understand both the internal business strategies as well as the external competitive landscape.
- Maintains all creative projects and design files, font and illustration library as needed.
- Knowledge in animating online graphics a plus.
- Experience with Figma is a plus!
- Completes additional special projects / tasks as assigned.
