Security Officer - Hotel Site - Access Control

As a part-time security officer specializing in access control at a prominent hotel and resort location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while addressing inquiries and assisting with any security-related concerns.

What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sitesSupport operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and educationReceive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teamsDeliver consistent, professional security presence and customer serviceBe ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs ariseResponsibilities :
Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the location.Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment within the hotel, resort, and casino areas.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.Assist with emergency response activities as needed, coordinating with local authorities and / or site management when appropriate.Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or any access control issues encountered during the shift.Communicate professionally with guests, staff, and / or management to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.What We're Looking For :

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
