Donor Engagement Manager
Manages and executes donor engagement events and experiences, including stewardship, cultivation, and recognition. Accountable for managing relationships required to effectively and efficiently execute these engagements. Supports the execution of events and donor engagement in support of raising philanthropic support for Allina Health's mission.
Principle Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning
- Collaborates with the Donor Engagement team in the strategic development of events and experience plans.
- Analyzes and evaluates current needs and strategies to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- Coordinates with cross functional teams to ensure alignment of engagement strategies with department goals and objectives.
- Research and identify emerging trends and best practices in donor engagement to inform planning.
- Event Management and Evaluation
- Manages and executes events that cultivate, steward, and recognize donors.
- Manages budget by tracking all expenses and ensuring vendor payment.
- Collaborates across Allina Health for event needs.
- Participates in the evaluation of each event, ensuring a clear understanding of return on investment.
- Leads post-event analysis, offering recommendations for potential changes to future events; tracks measurable outcomes for each event.
- Engagement Strategies
- Develops and implements engagement strategies to maintain and enhance relationships with donors.
- Designs and executes targeted strategies that foster lasting relationships with donors through engagement opportunities.
- Uses data and analytics to track engagement and gather donor insights that help to shape engagement plans.
- Cultivation and Stewardship
- Creates opportunities for the cultivation and stewardship of donors.
- Coordinates and executes the comprehensive stewardship plan to include events, stewardship activities, and recognition efforts.
- Vendor Management
- Manages contracts with vendors, manages schedules, and executes events and experiences ensuring goals are met.
- Monitors vendor performance and compliance with contract terms, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with vendors to foster collaboration and ensure high-quality service.
- Evaluates vendor proposals and selects the best options based on cost, quality, and reliability.
- Conducts regular reviews of vendor services to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in non profit management, communications, marketing, or similar field3+ years fundraising and / or event planning experience in non-profit or similar field1+ year experience working with donorsPreferred Qualifications :
1+ year experience with donor software like Raiser's Edge, LuminatePhysical Demands :
Light Work :Lifting weight up to 20 lbs. occasionally, up to 10 lbs. frequentlyPay Range :
$32.20 to $44.13 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and / or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
