The Milford Police Department is currently accepting applications to fill vacancies for F / T Police Officer. Minimum qualifications for this position include : H.S. diploma or equivalent; be 21 years old at time of appointment; possess valid driver's license; be a U.S. citizen; be in good physical condition; and possess the ability and desire to work with the public. Candidates will be required to complete a rigorous hiring process, to include : written exam; physical agility testing; oral board; psychological exam; polygraph exam and medical / physical exam; as well as an extensive background check. Competitive salary range with full Town benefits.

Health insurance - 3 HMO plans. One with 85 / 15 premium split, one Limited Provider plan with 100% of the premium paid and one High Deductible HSA plan with 100% of the premium paid. If opting out of health insurance (requires proof of coverage on another group plan), we provide opt out amounts - $3,500 for single, $7,000 for 2 person and $10,000 for family plan.
