2026 Summer Internship
The Hobby Lobby Buyers Department is seeking to recruit, train, and develop top collegiate talent into well-rounded merchandising interns who will get the opportunity to learn company operations in a corporate environment. This is a paid summer internship lasting approximately nine-weeks with a minimum work schedule of twenty hours per week depending on academic requirements. The on-site work schedule is Monday through Friday at our Oklahoma City Campus. During the internship experience, the Buying Intern is assigned a training Mentor within the Buying Department and takes on meaningful work assignments while making tangible contributions to the organization's success. This program provides opportunity for on-the-job training, cross-functional departmental exposure, and an end-of-program project presentation. The goal of the Buying Intern is to gain insight into Hobby Lobby's purchasing world which will include purchasing, compliance, business systems, and assortment allocation strategies. With this, the Buying Intern will learn how these align to meet financial expectations and how to utilize current systems for the allocation and distribution of products. The program includes :
