Physician Contract Specialist

A company is looking for a Physician and APP Contract Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

Collect and assimilate payer contract information to support contract implementation, operations, and customer service functions

Develop and maintain contract summaries to support internal education and operational compliance with contract terms

Assist in researching issues and recommend resolutions to escalated claim payment, reimbursement, and operations issues

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration

5+ years of related experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum five (5) years of related experience and / or training

Experience with commercial payers contracts, payment variance, policies, and contract methodologies
