About The Position

Wellhart is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner specializing in Neurology for a 36-day locum tenens position in Illinois. The assignment begins on 10 / 06 / 2025, with 12-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 pm. The NP will be responsible for rounding on neurosurgery inpatients, performing patient assessments and documentation, assisting with care coordination and discharge planning, providing support in clinic as needed, and collaborating closely with neurosurgeons and the clinical team. This opportunity offers a comprehensive experience in neurosurgical care and the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment.
