Pay Information

$2,900 per week

About The Position

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for patients with complex medical conditions.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and hemodynamic stability; intervene promptly for abnormal findings.
• Administer and titrate intravenous medications, including cardiac drips, insulin, and other critical medications per physician orders.
• Manage telemetry equipment and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, disease processes, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety procedures.
• Participate in rapid response and code situations as required.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor for new nurses and assist in unit quality improvement initiatives.
