Briggs Elementary

  • .5 FTE K-12 Instructional Strategist I or II

2025-2026 School Year

Qualifications :

  • Meet the Department of Education Certification
  • Teach endorsement to include Instructional Strategist I (K-8 Mild / Moderate)
  • Belief that all students have genius and are leaders
  • Positive collaboration skills and ability to make data supported instructional decisions
  • Familiarity with a variety of research based early literacy and numeracy instructional strategies

    • Duties :

  • Plan and provide academic instruction according to student IEPs
  • Monitor, update IEP and input progress monitoring data into IEP
  • Supervise and oversee the daily schedule of special education associate
  • Work collaboratively with students and staff to meet the building and districtwide initiatives
  • Plan with Special Education and General Education Teachers

    • Preference will be given to the candidate who :

  • Will be able to collaborate and co-teach in the building with general and special education teachers
  • Possesses the best qualifications and trainings to meet the needs of the students
  • Has a working knowledge of strategies to meet the behavior and academic goals of special education students and Building Initiatives (PLC / PBIS / Leader in Me)
  • Presents the strongest interview
  • Evident of being collaborative, has a growth mindset and is flexible
  • Enter IEP data in accordance with IEP including meeting timelines for data entry

    • Rate of Compensation :

  • As per 2025-26 Teachers Master Contract
