Base pay range $20.00 / hr - $24.00 / hr

A Marketing Assistant provides administrative support to a marketing team by executing various tasks like conducting market research, managing social media accounts, creating marketing materials, assisting with campaign execution, analyzing data, and coordinating marketing projects, ultimately contributing to the overall success of marketing strategies and initiatives.

Key responsibilities may include :

Market research :

Gathering and analyzing market data to identify trends and opportunities, including competitor analysis.

Content creation :

Writing and editing marketing copy for website, social media, email campaigns, and other materials.

Social media management :

Scheduling and posting content across various social media platforms, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments.

Campaign execution :

Assisting with the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns, including email marketing, paid advertising, and events.

Data analysis :

Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and generating reports on marketing campaign effectiveness.

Website maintenance :

Updating website content, managing forms, and ensuring accuracy of information

Graphic design support :

Assisting with the creation of visual assets like brochures, flyers, and presentations

Administrative tasks :

Managing marketing calendars, coordinating with other departments, maintaining marketing databases, and handling inquiries.

Event planning :

Supporting the organization and execution of marketing events, including logistics and registration.

Required skills :

Strong communication and writing skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing automation tools

Understanding of digital marketing principles and social media platforms

Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Analytical skills to interpret data and generate reports

Creative thinking and ability to generate marketing ideas

Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Education and experience :

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred

Entry-level position, with some relevant marketing experience beneficial
